Our version features solid Hard Ash throughout, including a 1” thick cabinet, 1” slate, and full hardwoods the entire rail thickness. The Tapered Square legs give the Six Iron table more of a contemporary feel. You will not find a finer built, antique style pool table.

Ash features astounding strength, unique grain pattern, and striking appearance. The grain is straight or slightly wavy and has a uniform texture that gives it a contemporary look. Ash has a unique feature called a “strong figure,” which makes it stand out as a decorative wood with pronounced and visible grain patterns. The obvious presence of these patterns can give furniture made with Ash a striking appearance, adding to the aesthetic appeal of the piece. This natural design results from the annual growth ring structure, and it can produce beautiful and intricate designs on the wood’s surface. The wood has a natural luster and a beautiful grain pattern that varies from board to board, which makes every piece unique.
